Black Friday Becomes Bless Friday® – Bless Friday Celebrates 13th Year

Since 2010, Bless Friday® has provided an alternative to hectic Christmas shopping on the day after Thanksgiving.   This twelfth year Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church returns to in-person service projects after two years of socially distanced activities.  MDPC will send volunteers to the Houston Food Bank and to Open Door Mission, a faith-based recovery program.  MDPC will also have several at-home project such at re-packing rice and beans for the Fuente Food Pantry, preparing Christmas shoeboxes for the Seafarers Mission and decorating tablecloths for children at House of Tiny Treasures, a preschool for children who have experienced homelessness.
