Help Foreign Visitors

It says in Hebrews: “Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it.”

Even during the holidays, Houston’s Ship Channel is packed with seafarers hailing from dozens of different countries. Christmas shoeboxes, collected and distributed by the International Seafarers’ Center, are often the only Christmas gift the men receive. Being far away from home, the seafarers face the difficulty of homesickness every day and appreciate these items tremendously.
